October's Dragonfly

At the beginning of October, the second annual generation of Sympetrum fonscolombii hunts its prey in the small reed thickets that grow along the rivulets of water that descend from the Apennines towards the Ligurian Sea, in Genova Nervi and therefore in a heavily populated, touristic area of the Italian Riviera. Single shot.
